Since the opening in 1975, Chamisal provides a spectacular setting for tennis, with scenic views overlooking rolling hills. The Club is the former venue of the US Open National Playoffs and the National Senior Women’s Hard Court Championships. Our goal has always been to inspire interest and participation at not just the local level, but also at the regional and national levels. Chamisal provides a wide array of tennis activities for its members.

Chamisal Tennis and Fitness Club features 13 Championship Tennis Courts, 11 Lighted Courts, a Stadium Center Court and a whole lot of fun competitive tennis. Under the direction of Ian Chadwell, the Chamisal Tennis Programs offers Members and Non-members of all ages individual and group instruction taught by the Club’s highly skilled tennis professionals, organized Club competitions and tennis social events. Chamisal’s after school Junior Tennis Clinics and Summer Camps for all levels for children ages 6 years and older. Chamisal also offers an unparalleled high performance junior program producing many of the top players around the Monterey Peninsula.
