Fitness Class Descriptions
In this water workout, you will build endurance and kick up your cardio as the instructor helps you to reach your fitness goals.
An aerobic based cardio class done in the pool. The instruction is taught from the deck of the pool. Water Dumbbells are used as you work your way to a stronger you.
The ultimate class for individuals who need to work on balance and stability. In this 1 hour class, the instructor will go over the importance of posture and flexibility, and will have you working towards a taller and more confident you. Chairs, straps and other equipment will be used. For an additional fee.
Simply put our Pump class will get you ripped in just a few short weeks! This weight training class is done using a bench, barbell, body bar, and/or dumbbells focusing on form and technique. Pump utilizes a max rep effect to overload the muscles and create hypertrophy. Novice to athletes can benefit greatly from this 50 min class.
This class is done indoors or out, depending on the weather. Drills of plyometrics combined with battle ropes and a sense of competition will push you to the best you, you can be. You will be having a blast while the instructor has you shedding pounds and gaining muscle. The time will fly by “Ooh-rah”! Lv. 2 & 3 with modifications for lv. 1. Taught at random times throughout the year as a specialty class.
Interval Training for the cardiovascular and core combines short burst of intense exercise with active recovery or rest to burn lots of calories and challenge the cardiovascular system. Studies have shown that this type of exercise can burn more calories than steady state training and helps to increase your metabolic rate. Lv. 2, 3 with modifications for lv. 1
This aqua class is a great way to strengthen and tone your muscles while working on your endurance and stamina. It is low-impact but high intensity if needed. Enjoy the 80 degree outdoor pool while you kick, splash, jump and get your workout in at the same time. All fitness levels.
Excellent for strengthening the abdominals & back. Entirely done on the mat, the exercises focus on breathing and strengthening the body’s “powerhouse,” as developed by Joseph Pilates. The series of exercises require stabilization of the torso and focused effort to keep the abdominals contracted and engaged throughout the workout. Modifications are given, so that students of all fitness levels are welcome.
Exercises focus on strengthening core, legs, arms, and over all stabilization. Exercises are done both on and off the floor. All levels.
Use your body weight & light accessories to shape, strengthen, & lengthen your body. Improving flexibility of all muscle groups, stretching can prevent injuries, relieve tension, and improve alignment. Both standing and floor stretches are incorporated. Utilizing all three components of exercise: muscular strength, cardiovascular training, and stretch/flexibility, this class is excellent for students of all fitness levels.
This class incorporates strength training equipment such as body bars, dumbbells, stability balls, and bands for a total body workout. Emphasis is on strengthening and sculpting the body, balance, and building cardiovascular endurance. A great workout to great music! Lv. 2, 3 with modifications for lv. 1
“Total-Body Resistance Exercise” Born in the Navy SEALS, TRX is a Suspension Training bodyweight exercise class that develops strength, balance, flexibility and core stability simultaneously. The TRX leverages gravity and the user’s body weight to complete hundreds of exercises. All levels.
TRX combined with Kickboxing drills for the best of both worlds. With a lot of different modifications available this class is a must for all levels.
A dance and Barre inspired class to help you achieve a happier, healthier you. Stretch your muscles and add a bit of flare while you are at it. In this class you will go through patterns of movement that help to not only strengthen, but lengthen your muscles at the same time. Standing and floor work. All levels.
A workout in the water! Build muscular endurance through low-impact routines. This is a great class to improve and increase range of motion, and flexibility. Equipment provided. Swimsuits, wet-suits, caps, water shoes are all appropriate. Great for all fitness levels.
Learn how to sequence breath & movements, and become familiar with the mind, body and breath connection. Release physical and mental stress in supported yoga poses. Suitable for all levels.

This seasonal paddle board inspired class is sure to challenge you in a fun new way. With the primary focus on balance and core conditioning, it will sculpt and change your body in no time. This class is held in the pool on full length paddle boards, anchored to the sides, so there is no fear of falling and getting hurt. Advanced levels can enjoy this balance training workout after a brief evaluation by the instructor. Attire: swimwear, yoga clothing or wetsuits. For an additional fee.
