Chamisal will host its 8th Annual Monterey Pickleball Palooza, a celebration of Pickleball, from Friday, August 21, 2026, through Sunday, August 23, 2026. Friday, August 21, will be our popular Friday Night Hot August Nights Pickleball Social. The Chamisal Pickleball Palooza Round Robin Tournament will follow this event. A round-robin age/skill-level tournament will be played, with final playoff rounds. Men’s & Women’s Doubles are on Saturday, and Mixed Doubles on Sunday.

Hot August Nights Friday night social and Chili cook off at 5:00 pm, followed by Chili Competition and Chili from the Courtside Bistro.
Saturday, August 22, 2026 – Men’s & Women’s age/level-based round-robin tournament.*
Sunday, August 23, 2026 – Mixed Doubles level-based round robin tournament.*

Chamisal Pickleball Tournament

This is a non-sanctioned round robin tournament event. Results will not be reported for DUPR rankings. Please have your 6-digit DUPR ID ready upon registration for ranking verification.
Men’s or Women’s and Mixed Doubles Levels of Play. Players need to register with a partner in one of the following division.
- 2.5 Doubles (Beginner Intermediate)
- 3.0 Doubles (Intermediate) (14+, 50+ age divisions)*
- 3.5 Doubles (Intermediate Advanced) (14+, 50+ age divisions)*
- 4.0 Doubles (Advanced) (14+, 50+ age divisions)*
- 4.5+ Doubles (Elite) (14+,50+ age divisions)*
Registration closes August 18, 2026, or when the event reaches capacity.
Full Refunds are available through August 16, 2026. No refund will be issued after August 16, 2026.
Prizes will be awarded to top three in each level bracket
Saturday and Sunday, all divisions should check-in by 9:30 for a 9:45 start.

*Some Brackets/Divisions may be combined as needed.

HOT AUGUST NIGHTS Chili Cookoff
Friday August 21, 2026

In a celebration of Pickleball, join players from around the area for an organized Pickleball social evening.

Event is $15 for Chamisal members. There is a $25 fee for non-members. See table below for package pricing options.
Players must check in by 5:00 pm
Play will begin at 5:15 pm with all players assigned to a court based on skill level and order of registration.
Players will play one 11 point game and rotate with winners moving up one court and non-winners moving down one court. Players are encouraged to switch partners each round.
Organized play will continue until approximately 7:00 pm.
All participants are invited to Chili tasting and competition following the event. Courts will remain available for play until 8:00 pm.
